Want to achieve your High School Equivalency Degree but need to improve your critical thinking and math skills first? This 30-40 hour course will help refine your abilities in essay writing, basic algebra and geometry, reading comprehension, interpretation of charts and graphs, and more. This class lays the groundwork for participation in the HiSET® program.

Post Secondary Planning 10/1 & 10/16

Considering college? Essentials of College Planning will survey the basic steps for successful college enrollment. We will discuss college and trade school options in our region, entrance requirements, readiness, and transitional issues of adult students, admissions procedures and financial aid. We will review a typical admissions application, request admissions materials and financial aid information from prospective colleges for each participant, and if appropriate, we will complete the financial aid form. Bring your 2013 1040 tax form and W2’s, plus any high school/High School Equivalency transcripts you have available to customize workshop details to your needs to make the enrollment and financial aid process easier. 1 Session.
